General Motors is committed to helping persons with disabilities equip their
vehicles for easier and safer travel. And now, with a special OnStar1 offer, you
can travel with increased confidence and control.
Through
the GM Mobility Reimbursement Program, new vehicle purchasers/lessors who
install or reinstall eligible adaptive mobility equipment on their new GM
vehicles can receive a combination of financial assistance and the protection
and convenience of OnStar. Participating GM divisions include Buick, Cadillac,
Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER, Pontiac, and Saturn.
Up to $1,000 reimbursement of the cost of any eligible
adaptive equipment when installed (or reinstalled) on any eligible,
purchased or leased, new vehicle manufactured by GM.
Two additional years of standard OnStar service at no additional cost on
all 2006-2007 GM vehicles equipped with OnStar delivered on or after
10/1/06. (Offer excludes reimbursement for safety belt extenders.) That's a
retail value of about $400 or more, depending on level of vehicle's standard
OnStar service.

Mobility Van Rentals
Ford Mobility Motoring offers financial assistance toward the cost of the
installation of adaptive equipment on a new Ford, Lincoln or Mercury vehicle.
The program also offers Ford Credit Mobility Financing and comprehensive
Roadside Assistance.
The Ford Mobility Motoring Program provides up to $1,000 toward
the cost of installed adaptive
equipment
on a new 2006, 2007 or 2008 Ford, Lincoln or Mercury car, van or light truck,
and up to $200 on alert hearing devices, lumbar seats and running boards.
If the cost of adding adaptive equipment is less than $1,000, or less
than $200 on an alert hearing device, lumbar seats and running boards, your
cash assistance will be for the exact amount of the adaptive equipment or
alert hearing device installation.
If the cost of adding adaptive equipment is $1,000 or more, the Ford
Mobility Motoring Program will pay the maximum of $1,000 on adaptive
equipment and a maximum of $200 on an alert hearing device, lumbar seats and
running boards to help defray your cost. Other sources of assistance may be
available to further assist you. Total reimbursement is not to exceed
$1,000.
